UM. WHAT’S A FISHBOWL ANYWAY?

It’s a group learning strategy where participants learn by surrounding two people in the inner circle—or “fishbowl”— who are actively involved in a conversation or exercise. This dynamic setting also sparks participant engagement and allows for real-time interaction.

WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS?

Fishbowl learning works really well. Research supports that fishbowls are a highly effective way to learn complex topics and develop group discussion skills. Participants in the outer circle will also provide their insights and observations in group discussions which enriches the dialogue and learning for all.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Coaching! You’ll be coached and learn how to coach around the topic at hand. We’ll introduce and build on the me:applied coaching model and illustrate hands-on how to apply it.

The one-hour long sessions are hosted in video conference “rooms” led by me:applied coaches in the center of the fishbowl while participants surround the fishbowl to observe, listen, engage with feedback, and even jump in. The meetings are confidential, collaborative, and supportive with motivated leaders like you.

All sessions are hosted at 12pm ET | 9am PST on select Fridays

I think any client has the power, strength, and strategies within them - the key is being ready to discover, think critically, and do “it”.
